The last hole on the front nine and stroke index 1. Uphill and usually into the prevailing wind, it deserves its ranking. Two solid hits will be needed to reach the green, followed by two skilful putts to navigate the subtle, but definite, contours.
Pro's Tip
Don’t force the tee shot. A solid hit will go just as far as an off-centre thrash. It is stroke index one – set your mind accordingly. Better opportunities to attack will present later in the round.
